Qualifications
- LL.B. from a recognized university.
- Enrolled with the Bar Council of India and eligible to practice.
- LL.M. or specialization in Intellectual Property Law will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–2 years of post-qualification experience.
- Fresh graduates with internship experience in litigation are encouraged to apply.
- Exposure to NI Act matters, recovery litigation, or IPR matters is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in handling litigation under the Negotiable Instruments Act, including cheque dishonour (Section 138) matters.
- Draft legal notices, complaints, written statements, replies, affidavits, applications, and other pleadings.
- Appear before District Courts, Commercial Courts, Magistrate Courts, High Courts, and other judicial forums as required.
- Handle civil recovery suits and execution proceedings.
- Assist in matters relating to trademarks, copyrights, patents, passing-off, infringement, and other intellectual property disputes.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case briefs, opinions, and legal summaries.
- Attend court hearings, coordinate filings, and manage court procedures.
- Liaise with clients, court officials, external counsel, and government authorities.
- Maintain case files, monitor litigation timelines, and ensure compliance with procedural requirements.
- Assist senior advocates in trial preparation, evidence, witness coordination, and case strategy.
- Keep abreast of developments in relevant laws and judicial precedents.
Required Skills
- Strong legal drafting and research skills.
- Basic understanding of the Negotiable Instruments Act, Civil Procedure Code, Commercial Courts Act, and Intellectual Property laws.
- Good advocacy and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research databases.
- Willingness to travel for court appearances and client meetings, as required.
