Data Entry Operator – Job Description:
Job Summary: A Data Entry Operator is responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining accurate data in computer systems and databases. The role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to handle confidential information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter data into computer systems accurately and efficiently.
- Verify and correct data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain and update databases, records, and files.
- Review documents for errors and resolve discrepancies.
- Generate reports as required by management.
- Organize and maintain both digital and physical records.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of company information.
- Perform regular backups and assist with administrative tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree is an advantage).
- Proven experience in data entry or a similar administrative role.
- Fast and accurate typing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and data management software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of office equipment and computer systems.
- Good communication and time management skills.
