We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our hospital pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will support pharmacists in dispensing medicines, maintaining inventory, and ensuring smooth pharmacy operations while delivering excellent patient service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately.
- Receive, store, and arrange medicines according to hospital standards.
- Check stock levels and expiry dates regularly.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory and prepare stock reports.
- Label and package medicines correctly.
- Handle billing and maintain pharmacy records.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy.
- Assist in receiving and verifying medicine deliveries.
- Follow hospital policies and pharmacy regulations.
- Provide courteous service to patients and hospital staff.
Qualifications
- D.Pharm/B.Pharm preferred. Pharmacy Assistant certification may also be considered.
- Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
- Basic computer knowledge is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
