Minkasu, Inc. an innovative mobile payments company based in Silicon Valley, California, USA, is looking for a Director, Information Security (IS) to lead our IS program in India. MinkasuPay is the first biometric authentication solution for India. You will have the opportunity to play a key role in defining and driving the IS program for the entire company and the core components of our mobile payments solution. You will be leading a team of analysts responsible for collaborating on all aspects of IS across the organization. Responsibilities
- Manage the entire IS program (including GRC: Governance, Risk and Compliance) for the company and the core components of our mobile payments solution:
- Android, iOS, React Native SDKs
- Transaction Processing Systems
- Dashboards & Billing Systems
- Define the product and IT security strategies using a risk-based approach
- Maintain compliance with relevant standards such as ISO, SOC 2, PCI, FIDO, etc.
- Ensure timely compliance with relevant RBI and NPCI circulars
- Coordinate with CERT-In empanelled organizations to perform regular VAPT, Source Code Review, Data Localization audits/certifications of Minkasu’s products
- Interface with the banks’ IS teams to ensure compliance with their policies
- Manage application and infrastructure vulnerabilities in an optimal manner
- Manage Incidence Response, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Digital Forensics as required
- This is a hands-on role reporting to the CTO
- Present reports and plans to top management as required
- Hiring, training and maintaining a rock star IS team
- Stay up-to-date on relevant technologies, plug into user groups, understand trends and opportunities to ensure we are using the best possible techniques and tools
Desired Skills/Experience
- Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or relevant field, with an IS background in banks and/or background in payments
- 10+ years experience in IS:
- 5+ years experience managing IS teams
- 5+ years hands-on experience implementing IS programs
- CISSP, CISM, CEH or other leading security certifications
- Successfully built and managed IS programs for multiple organizations
- Experience with obtaining certifications for one or more of the following: ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 2, PCI
- Experience in AWS cloud security architecture and operational controls
- Experience with conducting VAPT and Source Code Review audits for various mobile/web-based products/technologies
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with partners and customers
- Excellent leadership and project management skills
