cross-sell more effectively & efficiently.

STRATEGY MARKETPLACE - Our Marketplace
offers a suite of pre-tested and validated portfolios from
some of the most trusted and renowned global investment
managers. The service allows for a plug-and-play capability
for banks and financial institutions to leverage the most
effective strategies that address the varied investment
needs of their client groups.
You will drive engineering strategy and vision for one of the
key product verticals of the WeInvest platform and oversee its
development and management. You’ll work directly with the Head
of Engineering and Head of Product Management. You will play a
key role in architecting & designing the platform from the
ground up, hiring the core engineering team, business planning
& budgeting and end-to-end oversight of product technology and
operations. You will show hustle, take ownership and help
foster a high-energy, high-performance culture. This position
is based out of Bangalore, India.

Lead one of the product verticals in the development of
technology strategy, planning, hiring and execution of the
next iteration of the WeInvest platform.

Institutionalize a strong software engineering culture and
facilitate a rapid, iterative, layered development approach.

Be hands on with the coding, evaluate design and
architecture choices, do in-depth code reviews, and
implement standards and practices for software development.

Inspire the engineering team to build quality, scalable code
by pairing with team members periodically.

Participate in the definition and management of high-quality
product roadmaps based on business, product & tech strategy.
Create delivery plans and manage execution in weekly sprints
by working very closely with the product manager.
Be the owner of every aspect of platform technology,
operations and engineering processes including infrastructure,
codebases, SaaS & PaaS tools, security, application
performance and optimization.
Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may
impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and
technical goals.

Between 8-15 years of experience with a substantial part of
it in product development & engineering management in
FinTech, Wealth Management, Investment Management domain
-
Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is
necessary; general manager / owner mentality with an
entrepreneurial spirit.

Successful track record of delivering high-quality online /
mobile products from conception through completion on time
and within budgets.

Demonstrated ability to hire and manage top notch tech
talent is a must.

Ability to think strategically, conceptualize and prioritize
projects and execute methodically.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the
ability to work effectively on shared projects with
designers, program managers, testers, and other developers.

Experience in the retail banking / wealth management domain
is a big plus.

Familiarity with Markets and Financial Structures (e.g.
Stock Market, Bond Market, Auctions, Options, Futures, etc.)
is a big plus.

Strong team-orientation and the ability to work with
multi-cultural, geographically distributed and cross
functional teams.
