About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and quality-driven QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2 – 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance with expertise in manual testing, automation testing, API testing, performance testing, and AI feature validation. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring end-to-end product quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities
- Be assigned to projects from Day 1 and actively participate throughout the SDLC.
- Take end-to-end ownership of assigned features and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform Manual Testing, Automation Testing, API Testing, Performance Testing, and Mobile Testing for web and mobile applications.
- Develop and maintain automation test suites using Playwright or equivalent automation frameworks.
- Execute API validation using Postman, Insomnia, or similar tools.
- Perform performance and load testing using JMeter or equivalent tools.
- Validate AI-powered features, including prompt validation, output verification, and functional testing.
- Execute Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Integration, System, and User Acceptance Testing.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support release validation, production deployment verification, and release sign-off activities.
- Collaborate effectively with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, QA best practices, and process enhancements.
Technical Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Manual Testing concepts and testing methodologies.
- Good programming knowledge in JavaScript (Mandatory).
- Hands-on experience with Playwright or similar UI automation tools.
- Experience in Mobile Automation using Appium or equivalent frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of API Testing using Postman, Insomnia, or similar tools.
- Experience in Performance/Load Testing using JMeter or equivalent tools.
- Ability to validate AI/ML features and Agentic AI workflows.
- Good understanding of SQL and database validation.
- Familiarity with Git, branching strategies, and version control.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
