We are looking for a Senior Assembly Fitter to handle gearbox assembly work and guide junior fitters on the shop floor. The candidate should ensure proper fitting, alignment, and smooth assembly of gearbox components as per drawing and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble gearbox components as per technical drawings
- Ensure proper fitting, alignment, and torque settings
- Handle complete or sub-assembly work independently
- Guide and support junior fitters on shop floor
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments correctly
- Check quality of assembled parts before final inspection
- Troubleshoot basic assembly issues
- Maintain productivity and reduce rework
- Follow safety rules and maintain discipline
- Coordinate with production and quality teams
Key Skills Required
- Strong experience in mechanical assembly work
- Good knowledge of gearbox assembly process
- Ability to read mechanical drawings
- Skilled in use of tools and measuring instruments
- Problem-solving and guiding junior workers
Pay: ₹16,210.37 - ₹18,059.75 per month
