We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Executive to support our accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll operations for US-based restaurant businesses.
Position Summary
The Accounts Executive will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting activities, bookkeeping, reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, vendor management, and financial record maintenance for multiple restaurant units. The candidate should possess strong accounting fundamentals, excellent attention to detail, and hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks. Experience with Restaurant365 (R365) and US payroll processing will be considered a strong advantage.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in US shift timings and managing accounting processes in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Bookkeeping
· Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping entries.
· Record daily financial transactions and journal entries.
· Manage general ledger activities and account reconciliations.
· Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
· Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
Accounts Payable (AP)
· Process vendor invoices and verify supporting documents.
· Manage invoice entries, approvals, and payment schedules.
· Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
· Coordinate with vendors regarding billing issues and payment queries.
· Maintain AP aging reports and ensure timely payments.
Accounts Receivable (AR)
· Monitor receivables and payment collections.
· Reconcile customer accounts and payment records.
· Track outstanding balances and follow up when required.
· Assist with cash application and deposit reconciliation.
US Payroll Processing
· Assist in processing payroll for US-based employees across multiple restaurant locations.
· Maintain payroll records, employee hours, and attendance data.
· Coordinate with HR and operations teams to ensure payroll accuracy.
· Review payroll reports, deductions, reimbursements, and overtime calculations.
· Support payroll compliance and documentation processes.
· Assist with payroll-related reconciliations and reporting.
· Experience working with payroll systems such as ADP, Paychex, Gusto, or similar platforms preferred.
Bank & Credit Card Reconciliations
· Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
· Reconcile credit card statements and merchant transactions.
· Identify discrepancies and coordinate resolutions promptly.
Restaurant Accounting Support
· Assist in handling restaurant-specific accounting activities.
· Monitor daily sales reporting and POS reconciliations.
· Review cash deposits, refunds, discounts, and void transactions.
· Assist in food cost and inventory-related accounting processes.
· Support multi-unit restaurant accounting operations.
Financial Reporting
· Prepare accounting reports and financial summaries.
· Assist with preparation of P&L reports and balance sheets.
· Maintain spreadsheets and accounting trackers.
· Provide support during audits and financial reviews.
Software & System Management
· Work extensively on QuickBooks for bookkeeping and accounting functions.
· Maintain accurate data entry and system records.
· Support accounting workflows in Restaurant365 (R365) where applicable.
· Coordinate with operations teams for accounting data accuracy.
Compliance & Documentation
· Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
· Maintain confidentiality of financial data and records.
· Organize and maintain accounting documentation for audits and reporting.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
· 3–5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
· Experience handling US payroll processes is required.
· Prior experience working with US accounting processes preferred.
· Experience in hospitality, restaurants, retail, or multi-unit operations will be an advantage.
Required Skills & Competencies:
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
· Hands-on experience with QuickBooks.
· Experience with Restaurant365 is a strong plus.
· Knowledge of US payroll processing and payroll compliance.
· Familiarity with payroll systems such as ADP, Paychex, Gusto, or similar software preferred.
· Good understanding of AP, AR, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting.
· Strong MS Excel and spreadsheet management skills.
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
· Good communication and coordination skills.
· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
