Overview
We are looking for final-year Chartered Accountancy students eligible for industrial training to join us as Apprentice - CA for a 12-month apprenticeship. This program offers hands-on exposure to core finance and accounting functions including financial reporting, audit, taxation, compliance, and internal controls. Trainees will work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to real-time business processes and gaining practical experience aligned with ICAI guidelines.
This apprenticeship is ideal for students pursuing CA who are passionate and eager to learn, and ready to apply their academic knowledge in a dynamic corporate environment. Through this program, apprentices will gain exposure to agile methodologies and modern tech stacks, while also developing professional skills that will prepare them for a successful career.
Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities
Strategic Focus
- Support financial planning and analysis activities that contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across business units.
- Participate in projects related to cost optimization, process improvement, and financial modelling.
Operational Management
- Assist in preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Support statutory and internal audit processes including documentation, reconciliations, and audit queries.
- Contribute to tax computations, filings, and compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations.
- Help maintain accounting records, journal entries, and monthly closing activities.
People Leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and compliance.
- Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and a learning mindset in assigned tasks.
- Participate in team meetings, knowledge-sharing sessions, and internal workshops.
Governance & Risk
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and ICAI standards.
- Maintain accuracy and integrity in financial documentation and reporting.
- Identify and escalate risks, discrepancies, or non-compliance issues to relevant stakeholders..
