Job Description
Inviting applications for the role of [Senior Manager] [Accounts Payable]! If you are an accounting graduates with relevant accounting experience and a sound knowledge of end to end accounts payable process. Have you handled a team size of ~50 people - then this role is for you. The Senior Manager Accounts Payable Operations is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for end-to-end AP functions across multiple teams locations or geographies. The role focuses on governance risk and control stakeholder management scalability and continuous transformation of AP operations to deliver efficiency compliance and service excellence. Responsibilities: - As a lead you will be responsible for Account Payables operations team - You are accountable for Accounts Payable process which involves activities like Document management Invoice processing Trade and Non-Trade (EDI & Non-EDI) vendor maintenance Database corrections of vendor information Intercompany Non Trade payments and handling exceptions - You should set up and supervise vendor master file Payments T&E Processing and Audits External Regulatory reporting (Eg 1099 DADS2 etc.) Helpdesk Statement Auditing Escheatment Function VAT and Other Special Processes - Work on Multiple ERP Systems and Manual Intensive nature of work - You are responsible for the completion of all activities within the agreed time and of quality and ensure metrics are met as per agreed KP Is / SL As targets as applicable. - Ensure client happiness and successful external & internal audits - You should be open to work in any shift as per the business requirement - Operational Leadership & Governance - Oversee end-to-end AP operations across multiple teams or regions - Ensure consistent adherence to accounting policies internal controls and statutory compliance - Establish governance frameworks SO Ps and standardized processes - Monitor and review KP Is SL As service quality and cost efficiency - People & Performance Management - Lead and develop managers team leaders and senior analysts - Drive talent development succession planning and capability building - Foster a performance-driven compliant and customer-focused culture - Stakeholder & Business Partnership - Act as senior escalation point for complex vendor audit and business issues - Partner with procurement treasury tax IT and business leaders - Support leadership with insights on operational risks trends and opportunities - Transformation & Continuous Improvement - Lead process optimization automation and digitization initiatives (RPA OCR workflow tools) - Support system implementations migrations and global transitions - Drive standardization and best-practice adoption across AP operations - Financial Close & Audit - Oversee month-end and year-end close activities including accruals and provisions - Ensure audit readiness and timely closure of audit findings - Review high-risk high-value and sensitive transactions
