Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Hospital Information System (HIS) Specialist / Business Analyst who has previously worked with hospital management software and understands different hospital workflows and user roles.
The candidate will be responsible for analyzing existing HIS software, gathering operational data and workflow requirements from multiple departments, and helping us create a proper software architecture and implementation plan for our upcoming Hospital Management System.
Experience working with Akhil HIS System will be considered a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with hospital staff and management
Analyze existing HIS workflows and modules
Access and study different user roles including:
Receptionist
Doctor
Patient
Billing
Admin
Pharmacy
Laboratory
Nursing, etc.
Collect operational data and process requirements from the current HIS software
Prepare software architecture planning and workflow documentation
Help define module structure and system requirements for the new HIS platform
Coordinate with the development team during planning and implementation phases
Assist in data migration planning from the existing system to the new software
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 1+ year experience working with Hospital Information Systems (HIS)
Strong understanding of hospital workflows and healthcare operations
Experience handling multiple HIS user roles and modules
Good communication and documentation skills
Ability to create system flow, requirement documents, and process planning
Experience with Akhil HIS System is highly preferred
Preferred Candidate
Previously worked in hospitals, healthcare IT companies, or HIS implementation projects
Experience in software planning, workflow analysis, or healthcare operations
Understanding of data migration and system architecture is a plus
