About the Role
We're looking for a Python Web Scraping & Data Operations Intern to join our team on-site in Erode. You'll work alongside our developers on real scraping and data pipeline projects — collecting, cleaning, and organizing data that feeds directly into our marketplace platforms and client systems. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to learn practical, production-grade Python and automation skills rather than just theory.
Responsibilities
- Write and maintain Python scripts to extract data from websites
- Clean, structure, and organize scraped data into spreadsheets and organized files
- Assist with data quality checks — spotting duplicates, missing fields, and formatting issues
- Help prepare and update data in Excel/Google Sheets for team review
- Support the team with day-to-day data operations tasks as pipelines run
- Document your scripts and processes clearly for the team
What You'll Learn

Requirements
- Basic working knowledge of Python
- Basic Excel skills (formulas, sorting/filtering, basic data handling)
- Willingness to learn new tools and ask questions
- Comfortable working on-site in Erode for the duration of the internship
- Attention to detail and reliability in completing assigned tasks
Nice to Have (not required)
- Prior exposure to web scraping or data handling tools
- Familiarity with Google Sheets or basic automation tools
Duration & Compensation
This is a 3-month internship. It is unpaid to start; if the internship goes well and there's a good fit, a performance-based stipend can follow based on your contribution and progress.
