Master qualification in health sciences, pharmacy or related subject in public health OR Batchelor qualification in Ayurveda or Homeopathy with clinical research experience of at least 2 years Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: Required
- Availability and willingness for working from Vadu office and travel on field
- Managing a team of field research assistants
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams, managing relationships with external partners
Experience writing for publication in peer- reviewed journals
Prior experience of coordinating a project
Experience conducting fieldwork
Term: 1 year starting June 2025 (may be extended to 2 years based on performance and project availability)
About the research project:
medication adherence and clinical outcomes in geriatric patients on multiple medications. This will be a community-based study conducted at three sites, KEM, Vadu; AFMC, Pune and SJMC, Bengaluru. The project will include evaluation of these interventions in a factorial design RCT in three centres in approx. 700 patients.
Job responsibilities:
- Coordination with field team for conduct of community-based study
- Coordination with the central team
- To report to the principal investigator for weekly progress
- Randomization of the Participant as per protocol and follow up of participants
- Implementation of study activities at VRHP site
Skills:
- Knowledge of clinical research and ethics especially in the domain of public health and community based studies
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel to perform job duties
- Computer proficiency with high level of familiarity with commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, Power Point
- Fluency in English, Hindi and Marathi
