About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Principal AI Engineer to lead the design and development of enterprise-grade Agentic AI and LLM-powered applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, conversational AI, and workflow orchestration. You will architect scalable AI solutions, mentor engineering teams, and drive innovation across AI initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable Agentic AI and LLM-based enterprise applications.
- Develop intelligent AI agents with reasoning, tool/function calling, and workflow automation.
- Build and optimize RAG pipelines using vector databases and embeddings.
- Design conversational AI solutions for chat and voice applications.
- Integrate AI systems with REST APIs, databases, CRMs, and enterprise platforms.
- Lead solution architecture, development, deployment, and production monitoring.
- Improve AI response quality, latency, security, and reliability.
- Mentor engineering teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
Required Skills
- 10+ years in Software Engineering with 3–4 years in Agentic AI, LLMs, and RAG.
- Strong Python and backend development experience.
- Expertise with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, or similar frameworks.
- Hands-on experience in Prompt Engineering, Vector Databases, AI Workflow Orchestration, and API integrations.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB/Elasticsearch.
- Experience with cloud deployment, scalable architectures, and distributed systems.
Preferred Skills
- Experience building Voice AI, AI Calling Agents, or Conversational AI platforms.
- Knowledge of STT/TTS, WebSockets, real-time AI streaming.
- Exposure to BFSI, Healthcare, Customer Support, or Enterprise Automation domains.
- Experience with multi-agent systems, AI observability, guardrails, and hallucination control.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or a related field.
