Position Overview
We are looking for a proactive and technically driven Project Engineer / Technical Project Coordinator to join our Projects team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Audio Visual (AV) systems, software implementation, and multidisciplinary project execution. This role involves coordinating technology integration projects from planning through commissioning while working closely with clients, vendors, consultants, and internal teams.
The candidate will be responsible for managing software product implementation, coordinating website and mobile application development, preparing BOQs, overseeing AV, Electrical, Networking, and Fabrication activities, and ensuring seamless project execution, documentation, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Software & AV Integration
- Coordinate implementation of software products and interactive technology platforms.
- Manage website and mobile application development with external technology partners.
- Coordinate integration of Audio Visual (AV), projection systems, control systems, networking, and interactive technologies.
- Support system integration, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and deployment.
BOQ & Technical Planning
- Review architectural, electrical, AV, and networking drawings from a technical perspective.
- Prepare, review, and validate Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Assist in technical estimation, documentation, and material planning.
- Coordinate with procurement for vendor quotations and material requirements.
Project Execution
- Coordinate end-to-end execution of experiential, museum, exhibition, AV, and technology integration projects.
- Oversee site execution by coordinating Electrical, Fabrication, AV, Networking, and related works.
- Monitor project schedules, quality, and deliverables.
- Conduct regular site visits to review progress and resolve execution challenges.
Client & Vendor Coordination
- Act as the primary coordination point between clients, consultants, contractors, OEMs, software partners, and vendors.
- Ensure seamless communication among all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track procurement, deliveries, installations, commissioning, and project milestones.
- Attend project meetings and provide technical and execution updates.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain BOQs, project schedules, RFIs, MOMs, inspection reports, commissioning reports, and handover documentation.
- Maintain organized technical and commercial documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Quality & Project Monitoring
- Ensure execution complies with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor project timelines, quality benchmarks, and stakeholder communication.
- Coordinate testing, snag rectification, commissioning, and final project handover.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in:
- Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)
- Mechanical Engineering
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in Project Engineering, Project Coordination, Site Execution, Systems Integration, AV, ELV, Museum, Exhibition, Theme Park, or MEP projects.
- Fresh graduates with relevant internships, industrial training, or project experience and strong technical aptitude may also be considered.
Technical Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Good understanding of Audio Visual (AV) systems, projection technologies, networking, ELV systems, and Mechanical/Fabrication coordination.
- Exposure to software implementation and coordination of website/mobile application development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, ClickUp, Trello, or similar platforms is an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across India as required.
