About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic Education Counselor to guide students in selecting the right IT training programs and support them throughout the admission process. If you have strong communication skills and enjoy helping students achieve their career goals, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students through calls, walk-ins, online inquiries, and follow-ups
- Understand students’ career goals and recommend suitable IT courses
- Explain course curriculum, duration, fees, certifications, and career opportunities
- Convert inquiries into successful admissions
- Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and conversions in CRM systems
- Participate in seminars, webinars, and promotional activities for lead generation
- Stay updated with current IT industry trends and career opportunities
- Ensure high student satisfaction through continuous support and engagement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- 1–4 years of experience in Education Counseling, Academic Advising, or Admissions
- Strong communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills
- Sales mindset with the ability to achieve enrollment targets
- Familiarity with CRM tools, MS Office, and online meeting platforms
- Basic understanding of IT courses and technologies is an added advantage
