Title-SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) -Functional Consultant
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Module Implementation:
Lead the implementation of the SAP SD module by defining project objectives, creating project plans, and coordinating with key stakeholders. Ensure successful integration with other SAP modules and external systems.

Team Management:
Supervise a team of SAP SD consultants, providing guidance, support, and mentoring. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of projects. Conduct performance evaluations and identify skill development opportunities for team members.

System Configuration:
Configure the SAP SD module to meet business requirements. Customize settings related to pricing, order management, delivery scheduling, billing, and customer master data. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align SD processes with other modules like FI/CO and MM.

Process Improvement:
Continuously identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancement within the SAP SD module. Analyze business requirements, propose system enhancements, and implement best practices. Streamline order-to-cash processes and improve customer service levels.

User Support and Training:
Provide support to end-users by troubleshooting issues, resolving system errors, and addressing functional inquiries related to the SAP SD module. Conduct training sessions and develop user documentation to ensure effective utilization of the system.

Project Management:
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors, to achieve project objectives.

System Upgrades and Enhancements:
Stay updated with the latest SAP SD functionalities, releases, and industry trends. Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to maintain system stability and leverage new features.

Compliance and Security:
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, security standards, and company policies. Implement appropriate access controls, segregation of duties, and user authorization procedures within the SAP SD module.
MAJOR CHALLENGES:
- Adequate SAP Techno-Functional Knowledge to ensure Quality and Timelines adherence of Deliverables.
- Follow all design work and integration testing protocols, change control procedures, uses standards, procedures, and practices in performing required work. Analyze current business processes and make recommendations.
- Ensure knowledge transfer to functional analysts as necessary to increase their understanding and utilization of the SAP systems and applications.
- Conduct pilot study of the new processes to check their validity and analyze possible impacts on business scenarios and throughput.
- Participate in project planning activities, define project timelines, allocate resources, and manage project budgets related to SD implementation and maintenance.
