Key Responsibilities
- Perform testing & commissioning of electrical systems including LT/HT panels, transformers, DG sets, UPS, lighting, power distribution, and earthing systems.
- Prepare and execute testing procedures, checklists, and method statements as per project requirements.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, contractors, and vendors during commissioning activities.
- Ensure installations are as per approved drawings, BOQ, and technical specifications before commissioning.
- Conduct pre-commissioning inspections and ensure punch points are closed.
- Carry out functional tests, load tests, insulation resistance tests, earth resistance tests, and system integration checks.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, electrical codes, and safety standards.
- Prepare and submit test reports, commissioning records, and as-built documentation.
- Support final handover of electrical systems including O&M manuals and client training.
- Identify defects during testing and coordinate corrective actions with execution teams.
- Required Skills are;
- Strong knowledge of Electrical MEP systems
- Proficiency in testing instruments (Megger, Earth Tester, Multimeter, Clamp Meter)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Knowledge of IEC, IS standards, and local electrical regulations
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills
- Strong coordination and troubleshooting abilities.
