Position Overview: Business Development Manager ** for a Pharma Contract Research Organization (CRO) will be responsible for driving growth through the identification and development of new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, Medical Devices and packaging industries.
This role requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical analytical testing services, client needs, and service offerings within the CRO domain. The BDM will work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, technical team and Management etc.) to promote the company’s services and ensure the successful acquisition of new clients and projects and implementing of new business strategies, handling of BD team and achieving sales target month by month.

- Proposal Development & Client Engagement – (Proposal Creation, Client Presentations and Contract Negotiation)

- Relationship Management: (Client Relationship Building & Cross-Functional Collaboration)
- Performance Metrics: (Revenue Growth, Lead Conversion, Client Satisfaction & Retention, Proposal Success Rate) MANPOWER REQUISITION FORM
- Team Mentoring 8. Reporting & Metrics: (Sales Tracking)
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Master /Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Business, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus
Experience: 5-10 years of experience in business development or sales within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, CRO background must. ü
Proven track record in generating new business and client relationships, ideally in the clinical research, contract research, or healthcare services industries
ü Knowledge of pharma analytical services
ü Communication Skills
ü Negotiation Skills
Travel: Domestic and international travel required for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
Training and Development: Continuous training opportunities, including industry certifications, workshops, and seminars to stay abreast of the latest trends in clinical research and business development.
