Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with expertise in designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco routing, switching, wireless technologies, network security, and data center operations. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, documentation capabilities, and vendor management experience.
Key Responsibilities Technical:
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco Routing platforms (ISR, ASR, C8000 series) and Switching platforms (Nexus 9K, C9600, C9500, C9300).
- Deploy and maintain Cisco Wireless solutions, including C9800 and AireOS controllers, and Access Points (9136i, 2700i/2800i models).
- Operate and manage Cisco ISE, including adding network devices, creating policy sets, and troubleshooting authentication issues.
- Utilize Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) for network automation and assurance.
- Configure and deploy Fortigate Firewalls and manage VPN solutions with troubleshooting capabilities.
- Implement and maintain routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
- Ensure high availability and security through technologies like SVL, VPC, EtherChannel, HSRP, VRRP, VTP, PVRSTP, Dot1X.
- Apply QoS policies for optimized network performance.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting across routing, switching, and wireless domains.
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate support activities.
- Prepare and maintain Low-Level Design (LLD), High-Level Design (HLD) documents and Network Asset Inventory.
- Oversee and manage Data Center network infrastructure operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Relevant certifications (CCNA – Required) CCIE, NSE, etc. – good to have
- 6+ years of experience in enterprise networking and network implementation knowledge.
- Strong proficiency in Cisco technologies, Wireless technology etc.
- Hands-on experience with Fortigate Firewall configuration.
- In-depth knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and switching technologies.
- Familiarity with Cisco DNAC and Cisco ISE operations.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage vendors and work in a collaborative team environment.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with automation tools and scripting for network operations.
- Knowledge of cloud networking and SD-WAN solutions.
