We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of Indian accounting regulations as well as international accounting practices. The candidate should have strong expertise in financial accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, financial reporting, foreign transactions, and multi-currency accounting. This role requires a professional who can ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial operations while supporting strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
- Prepare accurate financial statements, management reports, MIS reports, and cash flow statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), GST regulations, Income Tax laws, TDS provisions, and other statutory requirements.
- Advance tax calculations, tax audits, and assessments.
- Manage foreign currency transactions, import-export accounting, overseas vendor/customer accounting, foreign remittances, and compliance with FEMA regulations.
- Prepare and review financial reports in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and support global reporting requirements where applicable.
- Handle inter-company transactions, transfer pricing documentation support, and consolidation of accounts for domestic and international entities.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, government authorities, and internal stakeholders during audits and compliance reviews.
- Monitor internal controls and recommend process improvements to strengthen financial governance and operational efficiency.
- Analyze financial data, budgets, forecasts, and variances to provide management with actionable insights.
- Ensure proper accounting treatment of international transactions, foreign exchange gains/losses, and cross-border business operations.
- Support business expansion activities involving overseas entities, international taxation, and global financial compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
- Minimum 5–10 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
- Good understanding of IFRS, International Accounting Standards (IAS), US GAAP, and global financial reporting practices.
- Experience handling multi-currency accounting, foreign transactions, import-export accounting, and international banking operations.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or other ERP systems.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain high levels of accuracy and confidentiality.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
