Job Summary
The Studio Manager is responsible for managing the overall operations of the company's studio/showroom, ensuring garments, fabrics, and seasonal collections are well organized and displayed. The role includes managing sample inventory, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring the studio is always ready for vendor, customer, and buyer visits.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the studio and ensure it is clean, organized, and business-ready at all times.
- Arrange garments, fabrics, and seasonal collections in a systematic and attractive manner and update displays based on new developments and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of sample receipt, storage, movement, return, and inventory while ensuring proper traceability and preventing sample loss or damage.
- Conduct regular stock verification and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Coordinate studio visits for vendors, buyers, customers, consultants, auditors, and senior management, ensuring displays and meeting arrangements are completed before scheduled visits.
- Support product presentations and maintain a professional environment that reflects the company's brand image.
- Work closely with Product Development, Design, Sampling, Production, Quality, and Stores to ensure samples are available for meetings, exhibitions, customer reviews, and internal presentations.
- Lead and supervise the studio team by assigning responsibilities, monitoring daily activities, developing standard operating procedures, and providing training on sample handling, documentation, and display standards.
- Maintain records of sample inventory, sample movement, visitor logs, display updates, and asset registers, and prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports for management.
- Identify opportunities to improve studio operations, sample management, inventory accuracy, and visitor experience by implementing effective processes and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, maintain confidentiality of company samples and developments, and uphold housekeeping, safety, and maintenance standards within the studio.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Technology, Textile Technology, Apparel Management, Business Administration, or any relevant discipline.
- MBA or Postgraduate qualification is preferred.
Experience
- 8–12 years of experience in the apparel, textile, garment export, buying house, or retail industry.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a managerial role handling studio/showroom operations, sample management, or product development support.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹49,683.05 per month
