We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Project Manager to lead software implementation and development projects. The ideal candidate should have strong project management skills, client-handling experience, and the ability to coordinate with development, QA, support, and implementation teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution
- Manage end-to-end software implementation and development projects.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Prepare project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery.
Client Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers.
- Conduct requirement gathering sessions and stakeholder meetings.
- Manage customer expectations and project communications.
- Prepare and share project status reports and MOMs.
Team Coordination
- Coordinate with Development, QA, UI/UX, and Support teams.
- Assign tasks and monitor team performance.
- Resolve project bottlenecks and escalations.
- Ensure adherence to project milestones.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRD).
- Maintain project documentation and change requests.
- Generate project progress reports and dashboards.
- Track project risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
Quality & Delivery Management
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with customers.
- Support go-live activities and post-implementation stabilization.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and successful project closure.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Experience in client-facing roles.
- Knowledge of ERP, TMS, WMS, HRMS, CRM, or enterprise applications will be preferred.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- MBA (Project Management/Operations) preferred.
- PMP, Prince2, Scrum Master, or Agile certification is an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in Software Project Management.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in enterprise software implementation projects.
