About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Automobile Engineer to keep our school bus fleet running safely and efficiently. In this role, your top priority is the safety of the students. You will be responsible for making sure every bus is in peak condition, meets all legal safety standards, and stays on the road through smart maintenance and the latest technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep Buses Running Smoothly: Create and manage schedules for regular check-ups to catch mechanical issues before they become problems.
- Fix Complex Problems: Use high-tech tools to figure out why a bus isn't working—whether it’s an engine issue or an electrical glitch—and guide the repair team on how to fix it.
- Safety First: Double-check all safety features, including brakes, seatbelts, cameras, and emergency lights, to ensure they meet strict government rules.
- Detailed Record Keeping: Keep organized logs of every repair, inspection, and smog check to prove our fleet is safe and compliant.
- Lead the Team: Act as the "go-to" technical expert for our mechanics, teaching them how to handle new vehicle systems.
- Budget & Parts: Monitor repair costs and keep the right spare parts in stock so buses spend less time in the shop and more time on their routes.
What We’re Looking For :
- Education: A college degree in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: Previous work managing a fleet of large vehicles (like buses or trucks) or working with diesel and electric engines.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
