About the Role
Jewel Child Development Centre is seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will work with children experiencing developmental, sensory, learning, behavioral, and functional challenges, helping them achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life through evidence-based occupational therapy interventions.
You will collaborate with Speech Therapists, Physiotherapists, Special Educators, Clinical Psychologists, Behavioral Therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic, child-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver engaging, goal-oriented therapy sessions tailored to each child's developmental needs.
- Address sensory integration, fine motor, gross motor, visual-motor integration, self-care, handwriting, school readiness, and activities of daily living.
- Monitor and document patient progress and update intervention plans as needed.
- Educate and support parents through home programs, counselling, and regular progress discussions.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and therapy records.
- Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in case discussions, team meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy (BOT) is mandatory.
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy (MOT) is preferred.
- Freshers with strong clinical knowledge, passion for pediatric rehabilitation, and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with pediatric clinical experience will have an added advantage.
- Registration with the relevant professional council is preferred.
