Job Summary
JFPL, Pune is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial record-keeping. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting, taxation, and compliance within a manufacturing or food processing environment. The role involves maintaining financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and supporting statutory compliance. Also, manage financial documentation, statutory compliance, and government incentive claims related to the food manufacturing business.Identify and monitor applicable Central and State Government schemes, subsidies, and incentives for the food processing and agriculture sectors.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate books of accounts in accounting software (e.g., Tally Prime or ERP).
- Record daily financial transactions, journal entries, receipts, and payments.
- Prepare bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process vendor invoices and customer payments.
- Maintain fixed asset and inventory accounting records.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in preparing profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Monitor expenses and support budget preparation.
- Generate MIS reports for management.
Taxation & Compliance
- Prepare and file GST returns and maintain GST records.
- Assist in TDS calculation, deduction, payment, and return filing.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.
- Support internal and statutory audits by providing required documentation.
Payroll Support
- Assist in salary processing and payroll accounting.
- Maintain employee reimbursement records.
- Coordinate statutory deductions such as PF, ESI, PT, and TDS.
Inventory & Manufacturing Accounting
- Verify inventory transactions and stock valuation.
- Coordinate with production and warehouse teams for stock reconciliation.
- Monitor material consumption and manufacturing costs.
- Assist in cost analysis and inventory reporting.
Banking & Documentation
- Prepare payment vouchers and process online banking transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain banking records.
- Maintain financial documents, invoices, purchase orders, and statutory records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- M.Com, MBA (Finance), or professional certification is an added advantage.
- 2–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a food manufacturing or FMCG company.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, Microsoft Excel, and MS Office.
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting standards.
- Understanding of inventory and manufacturing accounting.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
