We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our Agile team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products through manual and automated testing, while collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers to create acceptance criteria and ensure tests reflect the desired functionality.
- Design, develop, and execute both manual and automated test cases.
- Validate that implemented software meets business requirements and usability standards.
- Review requirement documents for consistency, completeness, and correctness.
- Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing.
- Evaluate functional and non-functional requirements for testability and automation suitability.
- Develop, script, and execute automated test scenarios; document and analyze results.
- Enhance automation test coverage and improve pass rates across testing cycles.
- Actively participate in release activities and provide QA sign-off.
- Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary Agile team environment.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, QA tools, and Agile principles.
- Hands-on experience developing test automation frameworks with strong coding skills.
- Experience in backend/API platform automation testing.
- Proficient in Python & Playwright programming.
- Strong understanding of microservices and REST API ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with tools and libraries such as REST Assured, Karate, JUnit, Groovy.
- Exposure to code-based test automation practices.
- Experience with tools like Git, JIRA, ClickUp, Jenkins.
- Prior experience with Agile methodologies and in-sprint automation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and out-of-the-box thinking capabilities.
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
