Job Title: Accounts Executive – GST & ComplianceJob Summary
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Executive who has strong knowledge of accounting operations, GST compliance, return filing, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The candidate should be capable of independently handling GST returns, reconciliations, and other government filings while ensuring accuracy and timely compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.) within timelines.
- Perform GST reconciliation between books, purchase registers, and GST portals.
- Handle TDS calculations, payments, and return filing.
- Manage statutory compliance filings and maintain proper documentation.
- Prepare and verify invoices, purchase entries, sales entries, and expense records.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Perform bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny.
- Support in monthly closing of accounts and preparation of financial reports.
- Coordinate with auditors and consultants for audits and compliance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and accounting standards.
- Maintain records related to GST notices, assessments, and correspondence.
- Assist in preparation of MIS reports as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) / Accounting or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in accounting and GST compliance.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax basics, and statutory filings.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like Tally ERP / Tally Prime / ERP systems.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, reconciliation).
- Ability to independently manage compliance deadlines.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in handling complete GST compliance independently.
- Knowledge of return filing portals and government compliance processes.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and taxation.
- Ability to work under deadlines and maintain accuracy.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
