We are a growing tuition center in Karur dedicated to helping students from Class 8 to 12 build strong academic foundations. We believe every student can excel in Mathematics with the right guidance, patience, and teaching approach. We are looking for a passionate and committed Mathematics teacher to join our team.
Position: Mathematics TeacherLocation: Karur, Tamil NaduType: Full-Time (27 hours/week)Joining: ImmediateWork Timings : Mon to Sat - Eve:-6PM to 9PM, Sunday :-9 hoursWhat You Will Teach
- Mathematics for Class 8 to 12
- Tamil Nadu State Board syllabus — primary focus
- CBSE, ICSE, ICS
Your Responsibilities
- Teach assigned batches as per timetable
- Prepare lesson plans weekly and submit to center head every Friday
- Conduct monthly tests for every batch and maintain score records
- Identify weak students early and give them extra attention
- Communicate student progress to center management monthly
- Keep classroom clean, disciplined, and positive at all times
- Attend monthly teacher review meeting (1st Sunday of every month — included in Sunday hours)
- Never cancel a class without 24-hour prior notice and arrangement of substitute
What We Are Looking For
Qualification:
- Minimum: B.Sc Mathematics or B.Ed with Maths specialization
- Preferred: M.Sc Mathematics or M.Ed
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge are welcome to apply
Skills:
- Strong command of Mathematics from Class 8 to 12 level
- Ability to explain concepts in both Tamil and English
- Patient, student-friendly teaching approach
- Basic ability to track and report student progress
- Punctual and responsible — our students depend on consistency
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year teaching or tutoring experience preferred
- Freshers with demonstrated subject strength will be considered
What We Offer

Performance Expectations
At the end of every 3 months we will review:
- Student attendance in your batches (target: above 85%)
- Student score improvement (target: minimum 45% average improvement)
- Parent satisfaction feedback score (target: above 4/5)
- Zero unexplained absences or late arrivals
Teachers who consistently meet these targets will receive a salary increment at the 6-month mark.
