Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and versatile Content Writer with strong English writing, research, storytelling, and digital content skills. The ideal candidate should be able to create engaging content for social media, websites, blogs, advertising campaigns, Reels/video scripts, and brand communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Write engaging social media captions, creative copy, and campaign content.
- Develop website content, landing pages, and SEO-friendly blogs/articles.
- Create advertising, promotional, and performance marketing copy.
- Write scripts for Reels, videos, and other short-form content.
- Develop brand stories, campaign ideas, hooks, headlines, and CTAs.
- Research topics across different industries and target audiences.
- Adapt writing style and tone according to different brands.
- Maintain consistency in brand voice and messaging.
- Proofread, edit, and optimise content for quality and clarity.
- Repurpose content across different platforms and formats.
- Collaborate with designers, video editors, and digital marketing teams.
- Stay updated with content, social media, and digital marketing trends.
Requirements
- 1+ year of professional content writing experience.
- Excellent English writing, grammar, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong creative writing, storytelling, research, and communication skills.
- Good understanding of social media, digital marketing, and brand communication.
- Ability to write engaging hooks, headlines, CTAs, and campaign messaging.
- Ability to adapt content for different brands, industries, and audiences.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of SEO, keyword research, search intent, and on-page optimisation.
- Experience writing blogs, website content, and landing pages.
- Knowledge of SEO tools and AI-assisted content workflows is a plus.
Education
A degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred. Relevant professional experience and demonstrated writing ability will also be considered.
Preferred Experience
- Creative or digital marketing agency experience.
- Experience working with multiple brands and industries.
- Experience developing different brand voices and writing styles.
- Experience mentoring or coordinating with junior writers is an advantage.
Portfolio Requirement
A professional writing portfolio or relevant work samples are mandatory.
Portfolio should demonstrate experience in:
- Social media content
- Advertising copy
- Website content
- Blogs/articles
- Reels/video scripts
