WordPress Intern — Hostcode Lab

We are looking for a curious and enthusiastic WordPress Intern to join our team in Bhubaneswar. This is a training-first role — you will be taken from the basics of WordPress all the way to advanced concepts, working on real client projects as you grow.
No prior professional experience is required. What matters is that you are genuinely interested in web development, willing to learn, and ready to get your hands dirty from day one.
What You Will Do
- Learn WordPress from scratch — from installation and setup to advanced customisation
- Build and edit websites using WordPress and Elementor page builder
- Work on WooCommerce-based e-commerce projects including product setup, layout, and basic configuration
- Configure, install, and troubleshoot WordPress plugins
- Apply web fundamentals — responsiveness, mobile optimisation, and cross-browser compatibility — across all builds
- Contribute to real client projects as your skills develop
- Documentation
What We Are Looking For
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Awareness of web fundamentals — responsive design, mobile optimisation, page structure
- Some exposure to PHP or curiosity to learn it
- A genuine interest in building websites and solving UI/UX problems
- Willingness to learn fast and take ownership of tasks
- Good attention to detail
You do not need to know WordPress already — we will train you from the ground up.

Qualification
- 3rd year / 4th year of any B.tech
