Job Description (Hiring)Position: Pediatric Dentist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care to infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering high-quality treatment while creating a positive and comfortable experience for young patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine, diagnose, and treat dental conditions in children and adolescents.
- Perform preventive dental procedures, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
- Restore teeth using fillings, crowns, and other appropriate treatments.
- Perform pulp therapy, extractions, and minor surgical procedures as required.
- Educate children and parents on oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive dental care.
- Manage dental emergencies and provide urgent care when needed.
- Monitor oral growth and development and identify orthodontic concerns.
- Provide behavior management techniques to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Treat children with special healthcare needs using appropriate clinical approaches.
- Maintain accurate patient records, treatment plans, and clinical documentation.
- Follow infection control, sterilization, and patient safety protocols.
- Collaborate with dental specialists and healthcare professionals when necessary
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry (Pedodontics).
- Valid dental license/registration as per local regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in pediatric dental care preferred.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to build trust with children and parents.
Preferred Skills
- Expertise in preventive and restorative pediatric dentistry.
- Experience with sedation dentistry and behavior management techniques.
- Strong patient counseling and education skills.Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.Compassionate, patient-focused, and child-friendly approach.
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
