Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contract Executive to manage contract administration activities for construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, monitoring, and maintaining contracts with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and administer construction contracts, subcontracts, work orders, and agreements.
- Coordinate with project, procurement, finance, and legal teams for contract execution and compliance.
- Monitor contract terms, obligations, deliverables, and deadlines.
- Maintain records of contract documents, amendments, correspondence, and approvals.
- Assist in tendering, bid evaluation, and contract finalization processes.
- Prepare contract-related reports, MIS, and documentation.
- Track variations, change orders, claims, and contract extensions.
- Ensure compliance with contractual, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors regarding contractual matters.
- Support dispute resolution and claim management activities when required.
- Monitor project progress against contractual commitments.
- Maintain contract databases and document management systems.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of contract management and administration.
- Understanding of construction contracts, BOQ, tendering, and procurement processes.
- Knowledge of contractual terms, legal documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong documentation and record-keeping abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Commerce, Law, Business Administration, or related field.
- Certification in Contract Management will be an added advantage.
Preferred Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in Contract Management within the Construction Industry.
- Experience handling subcontractor agreements, vendor contracts, and project documentation.
- Familiarity with tendering processes and contract execution.
