Sicher Engineering India Pvt. Ltd. is a precision sheet metal fabrication company serving the Railway and Engineering sectors. We manufacture stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium fabricated components for rolling stock and industrial applications.
We are looking for motivated Quality Engineers to strengthen our Quality Assurance team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct stage-wise inspection of fabricated sheet metal components.
- Perform incoming, in-process and final inspections.
- Coordinate and independently handle Third Party Inspections (TPI).
- Prepare inspection reports, quality records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with customer drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Liaise with production to resolve quality issues.
- Handle customer inspection visits and quality audits.
- Raise NCRs and monitor corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
- Perform root cause analysis for quality defects.
- Maintain calibration records of measuring instruments.
- Monitor welding, fabrication and dimensional quality.
- Support dispatch clearance from a quality perspective.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in fabrication or sheet metal manufacturing preferred.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments:
- Vernier
- Micrometer
- Height Gauge
- Dial Gauge
- Bevel Protractor
- Surface Plate
- Understanding of welding inspection.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 documentation.
- Ability to interact confidently with customers and TPI agencies.
- Good communication skills.
- MS Excel knowledge.
Preferred ExperienceJunior Engineer
Senior Engineer
- 5–10 years
- Experience handling railway inspections preferred.
- Experience dealing with RITES, customer inspections, or third-party inspection agencies is an advantage.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
