Structural Design Engineer
Qualification:
Key Responsibilities
- Perform analysis and design of RCC and steel structures using structural engineering software such as ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAFE, and other relevant design tools.
- Design structural components including columns, beams, slabs, foundations, and steel members in accordance with project requirements.
- Prepare and review structural design calculations and ensure compliance with applicable design standards.
- Review and verify structural drawings for accuracy, completeness, and constructability.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, and project teams to resolve design-related issues.
- Ensure all structural designs comply with relevant Indian Standards (IS Codes) and statutory requirements.
- Assist in optimizing structural designs for safety, economy, and efficiency.
- Provide technical support during project execution and address site-related design queries when required.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAFE, and other structural analysis/design software.
- Strong knowledge of RCC and steel structure design principles.
- Good understanding of Indian Standard (IS) Codes related to structural engineering.
- Ability to interpret and review structural drawings and design documents.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
