Position: Junior Purchase & Design Executive

Experience: 0–2 Years
Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech – Mechanical / Civil / Electrical / related engineering field
Job Responsibilities:
Purchase:
- Prepare purchase requirements based on project requirements.
- Collect and compare quotations from vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Prepare Purchase Orders and maintain purchase records.
- Coordinate with vendors for material availability and delivery.
- Follow up on pending materials and ensure timely delivery to project sites.
- Maintain vendor database and develop new suppliers.
Design:
- Assist in preparing Water Treatment Plant (WTP), STP, ETP, RO, UF and related system designs.
- Prepare and modify GA drawings, P&ID, layout drawings and fabrication drawings.
- Prepare basic BOQ, BOM and material specifications.
- Coordinate with the Project, Production and Purchase teams for design requirements.
- Review drawings and ensure materials match the approved design.
- Support senior engineers in design calculations and documentation.
Skills Required:
- Basic knowledge of water/wastewater treatment plants.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
- Basic understanding of mechanical equipment, piping and fabrication.
- Good communication and vendor coordination skills.
- MS Office / Excel knowledge.
- Willingness to learn purchase and technical design activities.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and project sites.
Salary: ₹16,000 – ₹18,000 per month + applicable allowances/incentives, depending on qualification and experience.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
