Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Responsibilities
- Teach Social Science to students of Classes VI to X in accordance with CBSE curriculum and school guidelines.
- Prepare annual curriculum plans, lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching materials.
- Deliver engaging and innovative classroom instruction using modern pedagogical practices.
- Integrate ICT tools, smart boards, and digital learning resources into teaching.
- Conduct regular assessments, assignments, projects, and examinations.
- Evaluate answer scripts and provide timely feedback to students.
Student Development
- Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Develop students' understanding of historical events, geographical concepts, democratic values, and socio-economic issues.
- Guide students in project work, exhibitions, quizzes, debates, and social science-related activities.
- Provide remedial support to academically weaker students and enrichment opportunities for advanced learners.
Classroom Management
- Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment.
- Ensure effective classroom management and student engagement.
- Promote ethical values, cultural sensitivity, and responsible citizenship among students.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain attendance, assessment records, and progress reports.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate student progress effectively.
- Contribute to school functions, assemblies, educational excursions, and co-curricular activities.
- Support academic audits, inspections, and compliance requirements.
Professional Development
- Participate in workshops, training programs, and faculty development initiatives.
- Stay updated with curriculum changes, educational trends, and teaching methodologies.
Qualification & ExperienceEssential Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, or related Social Science subject.
- B.Ed. from a recognized institution.
- Eligibility as per CBSE/NCTE norms.
Preferred Qualification
- Master's Degree in any Social Science subject.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
