Job Description
S Y MOTARA is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting activities at our quarry site near Surat. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, proficiency in Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel, and a willingness to work in a residential on-site environment.
The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling statutory compliance, preparing financial reports, and supporting daily business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain books of accounts in Tally Prime.
- Record daily accounting transactions.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Prepare invoices, vouchers, receipts, and payment entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Maintain general ledger and accounting records.
- Prepare GST-compliant invoices.
- Ensure GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Assist in payroll and expense tracking.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and MIS reports.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and consultants.
- Maintain proper accounting documentation and records.

Important Work Location Information
This is a residential on-site position at S Y MOTARA's quarry site, located outside the main residential area of Surat.
The selected candidate will be required to stay at the company-provided accommodation at the quarry site.
