- M.Sc. in Chemistry (Mandatory)
- Additional qualification in System Management and Data Analysis will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in an industrial quality control laboratory.
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented QC In-Charge to lead our Quality Control Laboratory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality through effective laboratory management, adherence to quality standards, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Quality Control Laboratory.
- Ensure all raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products are tested as per quality standards.
- Maintain compliance with laboratory procedures, quality systems, and documentation requirements.
- Develop, review, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor laboratory equipment calibration and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Analyze test results and provide technical recommendations for process improvements.
- Prepare quality reports and maintain accurate laboratory records.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, R&D, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.
- Train, mentor, and supervise QC laboratory personnel.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and system management.
Desired Skills
- Strong knowledge of quality control practices and laboratory management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in data analysis and quality reporting.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and documentation.
- Good leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
Working Hours
- General Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary
- Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Married candidates are preferred.
- Candidates residing within a 15 km radius of Palladam, including Palladam, Tiruppur, Sulur, Pongalur, Kundadam, and Avanashipalayam, will be given preference.
- Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
