Job Summary
The Project Manager – WTP is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and successfully completing water treatment plant projects within approved scope, budget, quality standards, and timelines. The role involves coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure efficient project delivery from design through commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Manage end-to-end execution of WTP projects.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
Technical Management
- Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Resolve technical issues during project execution.
Contract & Vendor Management
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor vendor performance and project deliverables.
- Manage contract administration and change orders.
Budget & Cost Control
- Prepare and track project budgets.
- Monitor costs and implement corrective actions to prevent overruns.
- Review and approve project-related invoices and payments.
Quality & Safety
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance and quality control procedures.
- Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
- Conduct site inspections and audits.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and consultants.
- Conduct project review meetings and provide progress reports.
- Manage client expectations and resolve project-related concerns.
Commissioning & Handover
- Oversee testing and commissioning activities.
- Ensure successful plant performance and compliance with specifications.
- Coordinate final documentation and project handover.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- PMP certification preferred.
- 8–15 years of experience in water treatment, wastewater treatment, EPC, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience managing WTP/ETP/STP projects is highly desirable.
Required Skills

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
