A payment collection application for digitally savvy general-trade merchants selling high-value products online without a website. Launched in 2024, Link has grown 200%+, contributes approximately 15% of revenue, and is expected to achieve operating profitability over the next 12 months.
The Opportunity :
We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager who can bridge market insights, product strategy, customer needs, sales execution, and go-to-market.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who enjoys being close to customers, understanding market gaps, shaping product propositions, building GTM strategies, and working closely with product, engineering, sales, finance, and marketing teams.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic go-getter who is comfortable operating both strategically and on the ground, including regular customer and field visits.
Key ResponsibilitiesMarket & Product Strategy :
- Conduct market research to identify valuable, unaddressed customer needs and market opportunities.
- Analyze competitors and present market opportunities and competitive differentiators to management.
- Identify and prioritize customer-valued product attributes across competing and Innoviti offerings.
- Translate market insights into product and roadmap recommendations.
- Continuously study customer and competitive requirements to refine the product roadmap.
- Define product metrics and targets, including market share, revenue, and gross margin.
Customer & Product Experience
- Identify different product users across customers and internal teams.
- Build a detailed understanding of users' day-to-day journeys and pain points.
- Work closely with product design teams to translate insights into user stories and experiences.
- Participate in engineering and product design stand-ups and provide ongoing market and customer feedback.
- Track customer issues and feedback and work with business operations to protect customer satisfaction, brand, and usage targets.
Positioning, Pricing & Packaging
- Develop and continuously refine the product's value proposition.
- Own pricing and packaging strategy in collaboration with Finance and other stakeholders.
- Identify and eliminate barriers to adoption, including awareness, legal/regulatory requirements, training, and customer usage.
Go-To-Market
- Develop and execute GTM strategies across awareness, consideration, conversion, acquisition, and adoption.
- Define the path-to-purchase in collaboration with digital marketing and operations teams.
- Plan and execute GTM initiatives including:
- Industry association events
- Seminars
- Customer/in-field activities
- ATL/BTL campaigns
- Digital marketing
- Promotions and activation programs
- Develop content guidelines and messaging for different stages of the customer journey.
- Work with content and design teams to develop effective marketing creatives and communication.
Sales Enablement & Growth
- Provide training and enablement for field and inside sales teams.
- Set customer acquisition and usage targets for sales teams.
- Develop incentive plans and track performance through MIS.
- Work closely with sales teams to identify ground-level challenges and growth opportunities.
- Travel regularly to meet customers, gather product insights, and work alongside sales teams.
Performance Management
- Track planned vs. executed GTM initiatives and present ROI to management on a regular basis.
- Create and manage promotional programs to increase product usage.
- Monitor promotional budgets and optimize spend based on performance.
- Track acquisition, adoption, usage, and revenue metrics and continuously improve outcomes.
What We're Looking For
- 8–10+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Product Management, Brand Management, or a closely related role.
- Experience in FinTech/Payments, D2C, Automotive, or similar high-growth industries preferred.
- Strong understanding of product marketing, customer insights, positioning, GTM, and sales enablement.
- Field sales or on-ground customer-facing experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical and market research capabilities.
- Ability to translate customer insights into product strategy and business outcomes.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Design, Sales, Finance, and Marketing teams.
- Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder-management, and execution skills.
- MBA from a reputed university preferred.
- Willingness to travel regularly; historically, this role involves approximately 6–15 days of travel per month.
