Job Title: Sr. Manager LMS / LXP Administrator – Digital Learning Platforms

Role Overview
We are looking for ahands-on, execution-focused digital learning professionalto own and operate the LMS/LXP ecosystem.
This role will own platform administration, integrations, analytics, learner experience, vendor partnerships and automation, driving an AI-enabled learning transformation agenda for 25000 + learners of Axis Max Life Insurance across Distribution channels, Operations Corporate Functions.
You will collaborate closely with IT, HR CoE, Data (BIIG) and business teams — but yourprimary accountability is operational excellence and platform delivery.This is a critical role within the Enterprise Learning COE, enabling a shift towards skills-based, data-driven and personalized learning experiences at scale.
Key Responsibilities
1. LMS / LXP Platform Management
- Administer and optimize enterprise LXP platforms
- Configure learning structures (catalogs, roles, permissions, learning paths, certifications)
- Ensure system performance, uptime and platform governance
- Manage upgrades, releases and feature adoption
2. Integrations System Architecture
- Lead integration with enterprise systems:
- HRIS (SuccessFactors)
- SSO
- Content providers external platforms
- Partner with IT to ensure secure, API-driven integration architecture
- Troubleshoot data sync and platform interoperability issues
3. Learning Analytics Insights
- Design and maintain learning dashboards and reporting frameworks
- Track:
- Adoption engagement
- Learning completion pathways
- Skills progression
- Business impact correlations
- Partner with Data teams to enable predictive and AI-driven insights
- Translate data into actionable recommendations for stakeholders
4. Learner Experience (LX) Optimization
- Drive user-centric design:
- Personalized learning journeys
- Skill-based recommendations
- Intuitive UX/UI enhancements
- Improve discoverability, engagement and completion rates
- Conduct user feedback loops and testing
5. Vendor Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with:
- LMS/LXP and all other relevant vendors
- Content providers
- Ensure SLA adherence and value realization
- Collaborate with:
- HR / LD teams for program deployment
- Business teams for capability alignment
- IT / HRTech for system enhancements
6. Automation AI Enablement
- Identify and implement automation opportunities, eg:
- Enrollment workflows
- Notifications nudges
- Learning recommendations
- Enable AI-driven features:
- Skill inference
- Personalized learning
- Content curation
- Support integration with enterprise AI tools (Copilot, GenAI platforms etc…)
7. Governance, Compliance Security
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards:
- Data privacy
- Audit compliance requirements
- Maintain learning records, certifications and audit trails
- Establish platform governance policies
8. Program Enablement Support
- Support large-scale learning initiatives:
- Capability academies
- Leadership programs
- Digital upskilling journeys
- Provide L2/L3 support for platform issues
- Create SOPs, guides and training for stakeholders
Key Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s in IT, Business or related field
Experience
- 5–10+ years in LMS/LXP administration or learning technology roles
- Experience inenterprise-scale digital learning environments
- Exposure toCOE-led capability building environments (preferred)
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience as a project manager with LMS/LXP platforms (e.g., Cornerstone, Degreed, EdCast, SuccessFactor)
- Strong understanding of:
- APIs and integrations
- Data structures reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Learning standards (SCORM, xAPI)
- Familiarity with:
- AI/ML in learning systems
- Automation tools and workflows
