Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced Pega Developer with strong expertise in the Pega Platform, workflow automation, and system integrations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable BPM solutions, working with backend integrations, and supporting enterprise applications in production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications on the Pega Platform
- Build and manage case management workflows and business processes
- Develop and support background processing components (agents, queue processors)
- Implement REST/SOAP API integrations
- Work with Kafka-based event-driven architecture
- Write and optimize SQL queries for application data handling
- Perform API testing using Postman
- Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
- Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of applications
Required Skills
- 6+ years of IT experience in software development
- Strong hands-on experience in Pega Platform (PRPC / 8.x)
- Experience in Case Management & Workflow Design
- Knowledge of Background Processing (Agents, Queue Processors)
- Strong experience in REST/SOAP API integrations
- Working knowledge of Kafka (event-driven systems)
- Strong proficiency in SQL
- Experience with Postman for API testing
- Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
Good to Have
- Pega CSA / CSSA / LSA certification
- Experience in Pega Decisioning (CDH)
- Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Basic Java knowledge for Pega extensions
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bengaluru, Karnataka (Bengaluru Urban District): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
