For over 35 years, F-Secure has led the cybersecurity industry with our 200+ service provider partners. As the home of scam protection, we're reimagining how we protect people from modern threats through cutting-edge scam detection and solutions that are setting the industry standard.
We bring together the sharpest minds of cyber security with a shared purpose: to protect people from modern threats. Here, you’ll have a real impact, making every digital moment more secure for everyone. You’ll thrive and grow in our Fellowship culture, where we dream big, trust, and challenge each other to deliver results and move with speed. You’ll be welcomed into a diverse, global team with an informal and collaborative culture where your voice truly matters.
Join us in securing the digital world together – where your work will make a lasting impact.
We're looking for an MLOps Engineer to join the Scam Decipherers team — the builders behind F-Secure's multi-modal AI platform for real-time scam detection. Our platform operates across SMS, messaging apps, and social media in multiple languages, and sits at the intersection of cybersecurity and applied AI.
We run production LLM and computer vision pipelines on AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda) across multiple regions, protecting millions of users from scams and fraud at global scale. This is not a research team — we ship to production, operate at sub-second latency, and own our systems end to end.
As the MLOps Engineer on this team, you'll own the reliability, scalability, and observability of our AI/ML systems — from model deployment and versioning to inference monitoring and cost optimisation. You'll be working at the frontier of LLM and computer vision deployment in a domain where what you build has a direct, measurable impact on people's digital safety.
This position is based in Bengaluru, India, and offers hybrid working flexibility.
Key responsibilities in this role:
- Deploy, version, and manage ML model endpoints in production — including LLM and computer vision pipelines — ensuring reliability across multi-region AWS infrastructure.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for model delivery, incorporating automated testing, staged rollouts, and safe rollback procedures.
- Monitor model and system health: track performance metrics, detect drift, manage alerts, and lead incident response when things go wrong.
- Optimise cloud infrastructure costs and resource usage across SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, and related AWS services.
- Manage experiment tracking and model/data versioning, maintaining clean lineage across training, validation, and deployment stages.
- Write and maintain infrastructure-as-code to keep our environments reproducible, auditable, and scalable.
What are we looking for?
- 4–5 years of hands-on experience in software engineering, data engineering, or ML engineering, with meaningful exposure to production systems beyond notebooks or coursework.
- Solid end-to-end understanding of ML workflows — data preparation, training, validation, deployment, and monitoring — and the real-world challenges of keeping models reliable in production (latency, versioning, rollback, drift).
- Hands-on AWS experience, including core services (S3, SQS, Lambda) and ideally SageMaker and Bedrock; comfort with containerisation and infrastructure-as-code.
- Strong Python skills, solid version control practices, and a working understanding of CI/CD concepts and production observability (logs, metrics, traces, dashboards).
- Full professional proficiency in English.
You'll stand out if you have:
- Hands-on experience with experiment tracking and data/model versioning tools in production, or with batch and real-time inference pipelines on managed or container platforms.
- Exposure to GPU-based model serving, LLM inference optimisation (quantisation, speculative decoding), or multi-region AWS deployments.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity domains — scam detection, fraud, or threat intelligence — or experience fine-tuning open-source language or vision models.
- Background in data privacy and secure handling of sensitive data in ML systems.
What you will get from us?
- Welcome to the good side – the home of scam protection! Work with industry-leading experts defining the future of cybersecurity and scam protection
- Be an AI pioneer, not a follower. Access industry-leading tools like Claude and Claude Code, with full support to integrate AI into your daily work while others are still figuring out policies. We're not asking "if" but "how" AI transforms our work, positioning you at the forefront of the industry.
- Thrive in our Fellowship culture where we empower, trust, challenge, and support each other in doing our best work.
- Flexible work that works for you – hybrid and remote options with team-agreed ways of working.
- Inclusive environment with flat, approachable leadership in our diverse global community.
- Comprehensive global benefits including Employee Share Savings Plan (ESSP), Fellow Member of the Board opportunities, and Annual Protect & Educate paid volunteer day.
- Wellbeing support through personal coaching services and one hour per week for personal recharging.
- Continuous growth via F-Secure Academy, Leadership programs, AI training, mentoring, and dedicated Learning Week.
A security vetting will possibly be conducted for the selected candidate in accordance with our employment process.
