Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Master's Degree in Law (LL.M.) from a recognized university (Mandatory).
- Ph.D. in Law / NET qualification will be preferred as per UGC norms.
- Strong academic background with a consistent record of excellence.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching, research, legal practice, or relevant professional experience.
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals, books, conferences, or legal research publications will be an added advantage.
- Candidates must fulfill UGC/BCI (Bar Council of India) norms as applicable.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Law and allied subjects.
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, case study discussions, moot court training, and practical legal education.
- Develop and update curriculum in accordance with legal developments, academic standards, and industry requirements.
- Guide students in research projects, dissertations, internships, moot court competitions, and legal aid activities.
- Mentor students for academic excellence, career development, and professional growth.
- Organize and participate in seminars, conferences, workshops, legal awareness programs, and academic events.
- Contribute to departmental activities, academic committees, accreditation processes, and university initiatives.
- Promote research, publications, consultancy, and industry-academia collaborations in the field of Law.
Desirable Qualifications & Skills
- Expertise in Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Corporate Law, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Cyber Law, International Law, or other specialized areas of Law.
- Strong understanding of contemporary legal issues, judicial developments, and legal research methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, advocacy, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage students through practical learning approaches, case studies, and experiential legal education.
- Experience in moot court coaching, legal aid clinics, research projects, or community outreach programs will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in legal databases, research tools, and academic technologies.
Pay Scale
₹30,000 – ₹70,000 per month
(Commensurate with qualifications and experience)
