Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team. The intern will assist with search engine optimization activities, keyword research, content optimization, competitor analysis, and website performance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research and identify relevant search terms.
- Assist with on-page SEO, including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, and content optimization.
- Perform competitor and industry research.
- Assist with off-page SEO and link-building activities.
- Monitor website rankings, traffic, and SEO performance.
- Use tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEO platforms.
- Identify basic technical SEO issues and coordinate with the relevant team for improvements.
- Assist in creating SEO-friendly content and optimizing existing website content.
- Prepare basic SEO reports and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Stay updated with Google algorithm changes and current SEO best practices.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts.
- Knowledge of keyword research and on-page/off-page SEO.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console is a plus.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets is preferred.
