A Food QAE is generally responsible for the following tasks:
- Shop Floor Monitoring: Continuous monitoring of production lines to ensure quality standards.
- Compliance: Ensuring adherence to FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, GHP, FSSC, and USFDA standards.
- Testing: Quality checks for raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products.
- Documentation: Managing quality documentation, deviation reports, and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Audits: Supporting internal and external audits.
- Training: Training production teams on food safety and hygiene practices
