Role Overview
We are looking for an Assistant Manager – School Tourism to drive our SSMS - CBSE School to enrich the educational travel vertical in Chennai, Around Tamilnadu & India. You will design curriculum-based itineraries, pitch to school managements, handle end-to-end logistics, and ensure maximum student safety on domestic and international tours.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Pitch educational tours to school principals and management in Designated places; conduct orientation sessions for parents and teachers.
- Operations & Logistics: Plan itineraries, secure bookings (transport, stay, meals), and negotiate with vendors for competitive pricing.
- Execution & Safety: Lead on-ground tour operations, manage tour escorts, and act as the primary point of contact for crisis management during trips.
- Product Design: Create engaging, curriculum-aligned travel programs (CBSE/ICSE/IB) that blend learning with adventure.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 3–5 years in school tourism, event management, or travel operations.
- Languages: Professional fluency in English and Tamil is mandatory.
- Skills: Strong sales pitching, vendor negotiation, and crisis resolution skills.
- Traits: Highly organized, responsible, and patient (essential for dealing with schools and parents).
- Travel: Willingness to travel with student groups when required.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
