Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Housekeeping Manager to manage and supervise the housekeeping operations of our 3-star hotel. The candidate will ensure cleanliness, hygiene, guest satisfaction, and smooth daily operations while maintaining hotel standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the housekeeping team, including room attendants, public area staff, and support staff.
- Ensure all guest rooms, corridors, lobby, and hotel areas are cleaned and maintained properly.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and quality standards.
- Prepare duty schedules and assign daily tasks to housekeeping staff.
- Train and guide housekeeping employees on procedures and service standards.
- Coordinate with the Front Office and Maintenance teams for guest requests and room readiness.
- Monitor housekeeping supplies, linen, amenities, and inventory control.
- Handle guest complaints related to cleanliness and provide quick solutions.
- Maintain records of room inspections, staff performance, and housekeeping reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and hotel policies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Housekeeping Manager/Supervisor in a hotel preferred.
- Good knowledge of housekeeping operations and hotel standards.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a team and work under pressure.
- Freshers with relevant hotel management background may also be considered.
- Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality Management from a recognized institution.
