Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee procurement, production planning, warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth end-to-end supply chain operations while working closely with Production, Sales, Finance, and Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Logistics
- Manage warehouse, transportation, and logistics operations.
- Ensure timely inbound and outbound deliveries.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and optimize stock levels.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers and carriers.
- Negotiate freight rates and manage carrier performance.
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
- Analyze logistics performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Handle freight claims and resolve logistics issues.
Production Planning
- Develop and manage production schedules based on demand forecasts.
- Monitor finished goods inventory and communicate stock updates.
- Coordinate special production requirements with Operations.
- Improve production planning processes and reporting.
- Lead daily and weekly supply planning meetings.
Procurement
- Manage procurement of raw materials, consumables, and packaging.
- Forecast purchasing requirements and generate purchase orders.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Identify alternate suppliers and drive cost optimization.
- Support ERP (SAP) implementation and utilization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, or Operations.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management, inventory control, and production planning.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Good understanding of import/export regulations and international logistics.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
